Welcome to join the 15th Charter Anniversary of Rotaract Club of Taipei. And thank you for coming to celebrate our birthday together!
15 years! What a remarkable and marvelous milestone. I’m really lucky to join the club, learning and growing with the club. And even, I’m in one of the pages of the club history. With our dear Rotarians and PPs’ support and guidance, I’m happy to make some changes and lead the club to another stage confidently. Thank you! Last, it is my members who always give me arms to do what I wish to fulfill.
Now, I’d love to address a little bit why we use “Rac n Roll” this year. “Rock and Roll” is passion, commitment and spirit. This is exactly the same value we share in Rotaract! As you all know, this year, I’m more than the President of the club, but also serves as the CEO for RYLA and operations executive for APRRC. Everyday life besides studies and intern job, it’s ROTARACT! Can you imagine? From this Monday to Sunday, every day is a Rotaract day. That does need strong passion and commitment to sustain. Besides, chasing dreams is always a lesson that you won’t give it up; for it means hopes and why you are here in the world, and that’s why Rock exists till today! It reminds me of a movie, “Ages of Rock.” We may face failures or lose hearts on the way of chasing dreams. However, it is Rotaract that gives you strength and opportunity. It provides a stage for us to shine and be the rock star! I’m proud to be part of it.
I’m sure Rotaract Club of Taipei will continue to grow and flourish, and keep “RAC n Rolling” to another 15 years. Happy 15th Birthday to my dear RAC Taipei!
Thank you!
Cheers in Rotaract,
President Oliver
